Trippify publishes practical content about travel technology, B2B distribution, agency operations, corporate travel, aviation, hotels and GCC and MENA market developments. This policy explains how we plan, write, review, update and correct that content.
Our editorial purpose
Our goal is to help travel professionals make better-informed decisions. We aim to explain complex topics clearly, distinguish evidence from interpretation, and avoid overstating what a source or dataset can prove.
Who writes and reviews Trippify content?
Content may be prepared by Trippify team members, named contributors or subject-matter specialists. The displayed author must reflect the person or organization responsible for the work. A reviewer is shown only when a real review has taken place. Research reports receive an additional source and methodology review before publication.
How we select sources
We prefer original and authoritative sources: government departments, tourism and statistics authorities, civil aviation bodies, airports, airlines, hotel groups, international organizations, regulatory documents, company filings and peer-reviewed research. Reputable commercial data may be used when its methodology and limitations are disclosed. We avoid relying on a secondary article when the original source is available.
How we classify claims
- Official fact: information published by an official or primary source.
- Third-party estimate: a figure or forecast produced by a research or commercial organization.
- Trippify inference: a conclusion derived from clearly identified sources and explained assumptions.
- Trippify internal data: aggregated and anonymized information from Trippify operations, never presented as representative of the whole market unless the evidence supports that conclusion.
Numbers, dates and comparisons
Every material number should identify its measurement period and source. We do not combine figures from different years without explaining the difference. When sources conflict, we describe the conflict and the reason for selecting or presenting a particular figure. Words such as “largest”, “best” or “leading” require verifiable evidence and a defined comparison.
Use of AI and editorial tools
Trippify may use software and AI-assisted tools for research organization, translation support, quality checks, summarization, transcription or drafting assistance. These tools do not replace source verification or editorial responsibility. A human editor remains responsible for the published content, factual claims, citations, tone and final approval. We do not publish invented quotations, fabricated sources or unsupported numbers.
Commercial content and conflicts
Product pages explain Trippify services and are commercial by nature. Editorial articles and research reports should not disguise marketing claims as independent evidence. Supplier relationships, sponsorships or commercial interests that materially affect a review or comparison should be disclosed. Paid placement does not determine research findings.
Updates and freshness
A “last updated” date should reflect a meaningful editorial change, not an automatic cache refresh or minor formatting edit. Time-sensitive pages are reviewed when important source data, regulations, product details or market conditions change. Historical news may remain available as an archive when it still provides useful context.
Corrections
Material factual errors are corrected promptly. Significant corrections should be described in the page update note. Minor spelling or formatting changes may be made without a correction notice. See our Fact-Checking and Corrections Policy for the process.
Research standards
Research reports must explain their scope, period, source register, methodology, exclusions and limitations. See the Trippify Research Methodology and browse published Trippify Research reports.
